225/60/16 has a load rating of around 1656 lbs and the 215/70/16 which I run on my stock wheels are rated at 1753 lbs. Never had a problem with them and I know ALOT of people that run the 225/60s

i was just doing some research and i found out that the e / d / c letters are the number of ply sidewall per tire. c is 6, d is 8 and i think e is 10
they say it's better for towing, so i was thinking about keeping the monster e rated tires on the rear, after all, i would think that most of the weight wile towing is on the rear right?

If you are just going to have it lowered I would run the 225/75/16. I had those on mine even when it was bagged. Not only can you get it in a D and E rating, but it will still have some height to it for RPM/fuel mileage reasons. The shorter the tire, the more RPMs and less fuel mileage.
