Eh. Here's a Snap-On KR-660B that I'm restoring. Need to replace some drawer slides and get a few of the drawers straightened out. Gonna paint the drawers a dark metallic silver and the cabinet a classic "fire engine" red.

FINE...since Campy went,



KR550B sitting on top of a KR660C, next to KRL761. Both roll cabs were bought cheap off craigslist, the top box was a trade-in to the Snapon man, my lil bro picked it up cheap for me.

Also scored a beat-up but still useful KR2400 cart off CL, cheap too.



Hey Campy, that paint scheme you're talking about sounds a little bit similar to this extra Matco box I have sitting here,



They did kind of a crummy job painting it though, could have looked better. ya know that Matco uses the exact same drawer slides as my KR660C, slides made by Accuride. I stole a couple from it to fix up the 660.

My drawers will be darker*, but yeah, it's similar.

I'm having a helluva time finding drawer slides for my 660 that don't cost an arm and a leg. Snap-On wants somewhere north of $80 EACH and Accuride won't sell the "Snap-On" glides to the GP. I'll check out Matco, but I think I'll think I'm going to end up building a jig and retrofitting some off the self slides. I only need 3 or 4 and I'll use them on the small drawers since they won't be supporting much weight.

*There's a shart joke somewhere in there if anyone wants to put in the work.
