My "new to me" 97

Hey Everyone!
I've been browsing around here forever and I can now say that I am officially a member of the dually family! Here she is!

454 7.4L
167,000 miles

I traded my 96 chevy 1500 ext. cab for this nice looking gem. Inside is incredibly clean. I have to do some minor front end work such as ball joints, alignment, etc but this baby will pull my fifth wheel easily! Let me know what ya think!

It will sit most of the time to be honest. My wife and I just purchased a used fifth wheel a few weeks ago and will use this truck to take the kiddos camping this summer here in Cali. Runs great. Just needs some minor tlc.

Nice truck... What kind of MPGs do those gassers get?

mine averaged like 10.5 i believe..

Anything 10 and up and I will be a happy camper. This isn't going to be a daily driver at all but I'm going to do some stuff to try and "help" the situation.

And Poss, that black on yours looks sweet! Very nice!

Thanks man... Thats why I like the 6.5... when done right you can roast the tires and still get around 20MPGs.
I drive mine every day.

X2,, I've drove my 6.5 everyday for the last 3 years, it averages 18~22 mpg and pulls anything I want with ease
