I've researched extensively but have yet to find the info I'm needing. I have an 87 Mazda b2600 with manual tranny and I'm needing to know if the 2.6 Mitsubishi's out of a front wheel drive application will bolt to my transmission.

The Ram 50 and the Colt Vista use the same G54B block. The Ram is RWD and the Colt is FWD. I hope that answers your question?

The block that I'm particularly interested in is said to be for vans or k-cars. I was told it wouldn't work but it is definitely a 2.6 Mitsubishi G54B.
