First thing I'd do would be to measure the voltage across the battery terminals at about 1000 rpms running with lights off, and then also running with lights on.

That's why I strongly suggested he test. So he (and we) don;t have to guess. Personally, I'd get pissed if I bought parts to replace good ones !!! His post was a week ago, hope he's fixed the problem and not just jackin' around !

Check battery terminals frame to ground connections and clean up ur plug to your alternator

Check for a dry cell in the battery. Lack of water will make the current pulsate.
