camshaft swop

Hi I am rebuilding a Jeep build on a Mazda B2000 chassis . I have stripped the Mazda motor and was told that my camshaft is done. Staying in South Africa it is hard to find spares on older cars so I had to buy a used one from a scrapyard . now that I have polished the old/new crank they tell me it's a E2000 crank and not a B2000 crank.... now my Q can I use the E2000 crank they look the same.??? please advice.
