Changing ignition

My ignition is going out and I already have a new one. I just don't know how to change it. Does anyone know of a write up or can give me and help?

Ignition switch electrical part?

Ignition modules inside distributor?

It's not the electrical part. It's only the part that the key goes in

Use a #2 phililips screwdriver to take the screws out of the lower steering column cover and then remove the cover. There are two anti-tamper bolts holding the mechanical part of the switch in place. Use a chistle and a hammer to tap he screws loose and then remove them. You won't be reusing them. That will allow you to swap out your broken key part after you swap out the electrical part of the switch. I think the replacement screws I used were 8 x 10 mm
