Soon to be bagged 94 gmc suburban. Few questions

Do I have to z the frame to make the front lay out? Or will it lay if I just cut it up

there is a build on here of a suburban my friend built. he Z'd the frame and cut the bottom of the frame up for the SFBD. I'll see if I can find it.
