Little bit more on the Vega chassis...

I got a request for a custom shift knob for a Nissan so off to the lathe I went. Its drilled and tapped on the bottom so it will screw on to the factory shifter...

Patch panel made and welded in. Started grinding and metal finishing the panel...

After some hammer and dolly work and some fine tuning of the body lines we should be looking good...

Quick test fit of the wheel and tire, a little more work and i'll call this panel done...

So I ended up rounding the tip of the shift knob for safety reasons...

Damn, forgot to tell you that I added it to the website as an option. It includes two weld in bungs and the 2.5" bushed ends are adjustable.
