Not sure if this is the right section but to the guys with fuel cells...are yall just filling them up at the top or did yall make some sort of piping for a fill neck? if so what material did you use? exhaust pipe, etc?

I just used 2" aluminum tubing to make the filler neck and then used a piece of fuel resistant hose to couple them together. I made sure the fit was pretty tight and if the tank didn't need to be removed I could have welded them together.

I always just weld a piece or aluminum to the cell...then use fuel resistant hose the rest of the way to the cap...alot easier to run...and the factory does it...so why not. Never had a problem....

what about a plastic cell? thinking about goin that route?
