The original story that went along with those pictures....

--------------------------------------------

This guy ran over a mattress and decided to keep going. The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to put a tear in the gas tank, the subsequent lack of fuel is what finally brought this vehicle to its knees.

It had still managed to drive 30 more miles decently with a 60lb tangle wrapped around the driveshaft.

This genius complained that the vehicle had a "shimmy" when driving at high speeds.

This is what the dealership found.............

Back when I was working in the AutoBody business, we had a customer bring in a brand new 4 x 4 F250 that he had slide into a culvert and somehow got into some barbwire , vines and chicken wire fencing. Pretty much did the same as this but this dude was drunken off-roading (I kno that sounds wierd...lol) so he put it in 4 wheel low and kept trying to break it free. Needless to say he wound it up pretty tight! So tight that not only did he rip out just about every sensor under there but it actually squeezed the drive shaft down about an inch. It was a mess. Took us two days to cut it all out. It looked like Jesus crown of thorns when we got it out of there..lol.
