go ls1 ls2 even ls6 if u can if u can any ls block will do
lt1 doesnt have much horse and the dist cap is behind the water pump trust me it sucks

As stated like above, go LS1. its a lot easier and LS parts are interchangeable (ls heads, intake, ect ect)
