if your looking for a v6 try and get a 93 and newer that's when they changed to the 3.2l the 3.1 was junk.

my family has had a 98 since it was brand new and has been passed around to whoever needs a good running ride. still runs great with 220K+. only major component replaced has been a water pump. isuzu's are basically bulletproof as long as you take decent care of them
