going to have to check for spark and fuelif it was passlock, normally they crank up and run for 1-2 sec then die out checking for codes would be nice...see if computer is getting crankshaft sensor signaltry spraying some carb cleaner in throttle body and see if it runs

Have you pulled your bed off recently? The common ground on the drivers side by the spare tire crossmember also grounds your fuel pump, if that's loose, or not cleanly grounded, you may have intermittent problems that would also affect your tail light system as well.    That's a long shot tho.

may be a bad ground on the back of the frame

ill check those things out,  would the truck stall out while im driving if it was a bad ground for the fuel pump?   it has been running shitty at all either

a fuel pump going bad can do that, will make it stutter while going down the road and then it works when you let it sit,  happened to my old ranger.

I know its not a s-10 but I had a the same type of problem you are describing. This year on the way to show fest about 10 miles from the show my 05 1500 sputtered a few times. I thought it might be bad gas or low on gas because I only had 1/8 of a tank left. When we pulled in to the parking garage at the casino and shut the truck off it would not run again, all it would do is spin over. We called abouch of people at the show we knew and every one seemed that it was the crank sensor since it was not getting any spark. So went to the closest parts store bought a crank sensor changed it in the parking garge and truck fired right ip. So to make a long story short check and see if you are getting fire at the plugs. if not chances are its the crank sensor.

ill check that,  but the truck doesnt sputter at all, it runs fine, its only happened 2 times, sat and sun,  i havent driven it since.   Ill turn it off and it just doesnt  want to start.  I even push started it (5 speed) and it wouldnt start.

check for codes, that is pretty much all you can do until it acts up again unless you just start changing random  parts when it acts up, check for spark and fuel
