That was kinda cool.

A few years back they built a road coarse her in town. The main owner/operator has a machine shop and builds motors for the cobra replicas. I think he's made quite a name for himself with the shelby guys. Here is a link to his website. He is just a really good guy also.

They had a little shindig out at his track, and my wife kinda is the one who promotes it(kinda I wont bore you with the details). But they had 6 or 7 guys given people rides around the track. A few shelbys, a newer mustang, an older fox body, some vettes and then this vvv

And that's what I rode in. The track has tons of grip, in fact one guy with an old nascar stock car ripped up his driveshaft. But it's fairly tight, they did that on purpose so you could really drive out of the corners but couldn't get to ridiculous speeds. We ran about 130 mph, he said the car was completely stock, even the tires.

There was video on the news of the camera guy going around in the same car, but they do not have it on the net that I could find.

Just thought I'd share.

Oh and they had really good free food and beer(not that I drink but it was there).
