We had a hail storm here a few weeks back. My wife's work's van got totaled, we can buy it for like $2500. It doesn't look all that bad. It's a 2004 chevy venture with like 65000 miles. It books for around $7200. What's anyone think?
It all really depends on if your are willing to pay to have it fixed or just drive it like it is. I dont know the extend of the damage but a good PDR man can knock the dents out in a hurry and make it look presentable.
Take the $$$ and buy her a Sub.
I couldn't afford to keep a sub gassed up, I don't have a company gas card like some people.
She says it's fine the way it is, it wont bother her a bit. It will probably drive me nuts. I'm not a fan of pdr so I might take and pop them out myself and paint it, Idk. The dents are just on the roof and hood, it didn't get the sides.
I don't fill up the wife's ride on the Co card, anyway.
I didn't figure so, just given you a hard time.
is the thing in good shape mechanically>? thatd be the deteriming factor, you can always slowly fix the dents and shit....
im in IL workin a hail damage storm and weve totaled a ton of cars.
Only 60,000 miles and they always took it in for service.
id buy it, fix the hood and forget about the roof, u cant see it...
