Just checking in. I'm still here. Busy as heck lately both @ work and home. Plus log-in issue have had me irritated at "the Scene" for a while now, so I've just been lurking.

Suppose to close on our new pad Friday, but I'm thinking it will be more like Tues, Wed of next week. You guys can come over and well throw some dead animals on the grill. Sound like a plan?

Awesome news man...nothing like ownership! Now be sure to carve out Campy land,grab some territory at your new domicile. Otherwise it will be nabbed up by the little woman and the garage will be storage, and you castle will have no manly refuge...

Actually...I have two locations of manly refuge...and the little woman was the one who granted them to me. I get the spare office, and of course, the garage.

Although, I have mixed feelings about the garage. While it is a three car affair, it's only 18'-6" deep. I can't even get the Sub in there, let alone the Sled. Something must be done to rectify that. Campy Sr. hatched a plan to pop out the front of the garage 6" so we can get the Sub in there at least, but I'm not 100% sure I'm on board with that idea yet. The plus side is, since it's so wide, I can get either one in at an angle if need be.

I've been told being "house poor" is rather enjoyable.

I don't look at it as a mortgage, rather, an investment.

She'll take both before long. I had those also and her stuff slowly crept in. Now all my worldly possessions are in a small plastic tool box in the basement. I have to work out around Christmas decorations in my weight room. It takes a keen eye in our house to tell she's even got a husband.

Oh it's definitely worth it(I think).
