I see EMW and Choppin block sell the kit to raise the UCA on the 07-up trucks. What is the reason of this and would it be safe to keep the UCA in the factory spot? KP Components also sells a kit but its just brackets to replace the strut/spring with a bag but keeps the UCA in place...

im sure it has to do with camber and balljoint angles. I would buy one of the other mentioned kits before i bought the kp brackets

the reason they raise the uca is bacause they send a lil bit shorter lca to fix the camber issues. i had the kp kit in my truck and it pretty much sucked, the bump steer was rediculous not to mention the camber blew ass. i now have the emw kit on my truck but now after looking if i had some more money at the time of perchase i probly would have went with the choppin block kit only cause it comes with a tubular uca wich probly wont bind as bad as the oe one. it doesnt really bind it just makes the ball joint stretch out as far as it can go at full lift.
