65 SUB

I thought id ask some of u guys...Im in need of some motor mount brackets (frame to crossmember that the motor mounts bolt to)for my 1965 Sub. I thought some Sq body ones might work but they dont...So i need the R and L if anyone could help a homie out???

really the 73-87 mounts don't work? whats differnt about them?

what do you need? the part that mounts to the frame or the part that mounts to the engine

They dont line up at all?? I thought theyd work to but No.

Im tryin to stuff my 454 from my dually in there so im really lookin for big block mounts??? but i havnt seen any?? figure ill start with small block one since it didnt have any when i picked it up.

Only if it was a GMC, it could have come with the 305 V6.

If you'd caught me back in the late 80's I coulda hooked you up, I did a used parts biz for 1960-1966 Chevy/GMC. In fact my first truck ever was a '63 Suburban. Also had a '61 Sub and a '66 Panel, love those old trucks. Best ones GM ever made IMO. And shitboxes are #2.

Im just a little inked up...I have a prob. with it and intreatment Now for overdoseing!

Iv always liked the style but dont see them to much up hear so when i found i grabed it just to put the 454 in from my dually...but now it just been a pain in the A** It didnt have any motor in it or the mount when i got it.

So any help would be grate!

Now that i have one i deff would like a early sixtys...and always been a big GMC fan...was thinking of swaping out the grill to GMC??

Naw man don't go GMC with it, get the Chevy grille from 60 or 61. Quad lamps like the GMC but looks better. But then again I like the 60-61 hood and everyone else hates it...so wutever.
