I cant remember the last time i touched a truck with a sawzall unless it was a junker going to the scrap yard. Personally I hate the things. 3/64 Walter Zip Cuts and a grinder for me.

Well, when i cut on my truck i use Metabo and  DeWalt Angle Grinders. I have about 4 of each and love them more than family.

I have had my DeWalt for years with no  problem but here at the shop we have a Milwalkee and we do a lot of heavy shit with it...all our exhaust and chassis work and it for damn sure a work horse.

Ive got a Milwaukee and it always gets the job done. Problem is I never use it. My angle grinder is usually my weapon of choice. I've got a hypertherm plasma that doesnt get used much either.

Ya I am with Jason and Joel, I don't actually use mine that much. I am more of a cutoff wheel guy, especially for body drops and stuff. I will cut exhaust off with it, and the inside of notches out. When I do a frame Z or frame horns I cut the top bottom and outside with a cutoff wheel, and then follow that cut with the sawzall to get the back side (unless the engine is out, then no sawzall). I did use the hell out of it cutting this back half up though.   My friend uses my sawzall more than I do. Uses it for stuff I don't understand, like cutting U bends to fit in exhaust systems, or cutting tube to length. I would much rather use my band saw, chop saw, angle grinder, or portaband for that.

Sawzall is good in tight places with a long blade, thats all I use it for.
