I have a stock alt in my tacoma. I figure it is a 60 to 80 amp at best. I have been looking at a 140 amp version and was wondering it that is high enough to cover to TV's and 1500 and 450 watt Memphis with two blue top optimas. I'm not to savy on this so any help on this would be great.

I have had problems also and just upgraded to 130 AMP and seems to have solved all my issues.

I run a 140 amp alt. ( stock casing rewound & oversize diodes), & had a Yellow top 34/78 (start/deep cycle).Was good,but if battery volts drop,can only bring back to full charge with 2 amp. slow charging .Just changed to a Odyssey PC1500
