b2000 motor swap help

i want to get a new or rebuilt motor for my 86 b2000 and wanted to know if i can use a motor out of a ford ranger and use my stock transmission? and if i can what year truck can i get it from... im looking for a 4 cyl.

I know that the Mazda 626 motor will fit as well as the Ford Probe both Turbo and non turbo. But the ranger...I am not sure.

can i use my stock transmission with these motors?
