I was thinking of looking into the world of hydraulics and I am missing a little knowledge. I'm not looking for all the answers from one post, I would love to hear pointers or a good web page or forum that would explain the how to's of a beginner setup that would be sweet. The best example i can think of what i would like to know is plumbing, wiring, parts needed, and setup (a good place to position them) to name a few.

Kevin Whipps wrote a pretty informative forum thread on hydraulics a few years back: http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7349 And, of course www.hydroholics.net  is a good place to buy product and also learn further about plumbing, wiring, setting up cylinders, faq, etc., www.layitlow.com has a forum that's dedicated to hydraulics.  It's a little esse lowrider, but still informative.   I hope this helps, and of course if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them: derek@hydroholics.net

This book will give you a good overview of auto hydraulics. It coupled with layitlow.com helped me get my system designed and installed on my Rodeo back in the day. "The Science of Hydraulic Suspension"http://www.amazon.com/dp/1414007469?tag=layitlowcom-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=1414007469&adid=1GFB1QFW3ZM4NNFC2AX7& Miles
