Flippin ball joints

When flippin ball joints on a mazda do you have to redrill the spindle to fit the taper of the joint

no you dont literally flip them, you put them on top of the control arm instead of on the bottom.

but you do need to grind down nd cut where the lower sits in the lca. you have to do this to allow the bj to fit back in

Oh i see now i feel stupid. everybody talks about flipping so i figured the ball joint flips but you just bolt them on top of the c arms. Thanks guys

does anybody have picters of their flipped ball joints or step by step pics. im gonna try to do a friends for him in a few days. thanks for the help guys
