I am sick of paying so much for a regular vehicle policy on my GMC. I have contacted hagerty and since it's not a "tuner" they won't cover it. What do you guys with big trucks do? Or anyone for that matter? I have state farm and the truck is half my policy!

USAA insurance. They will insure any modification or accessory done to the truck without an increase in my premium. 50 bucks for full coverage a month for my truck.

I took Uncle Festers advice (Thanks Fester!!!) And called the Barrett Jackson insurance a couple of weeks ago and got my Toyota insured for $12k for only $201.00 a year! It's not my primary vehicle so the rate is killer. I'll be adding my other Toyota as soon as it's road worthy.

I have a $25,000 rider policy on mine, no mileage restrictions, no garage restrictions for under $400 a year through liberty mutual. most sites have restrictions like the one I found on barret jackson's "*For the purposes of this insurance program, collector car is defined as: Classic, antique, exotic, special interest, or limited edition cars that you use in car club activities, exhibitions, parades, or for private collection, drive infrequently and store in a fully enclosed, locked garage (or other secured location) when not in use"basically if it gets broken in to/stolen while its sitting at a hotel one night while you're at a show, you're screwed....
