the problem is, I have no idea how well the previous owners of whatever truck I buy took care of it the height in the rear is perfect

Go to my profile t -bars are turned down in the front with low pro 195-50-15 on chrome 4 wheel drive wheels thats it on the front the back is notched with some air shcocks and a leaf taken out sits real good in the back hope this helps some(And yes i know i am very old school but i am good with that!!!)

I bought this new in 90this pic was around 92 and it rode like a cadillacspindles, torsions, tokiko shocks, front and rear sway bars2-3" ground clearance now I have a mazda and will be lowering it soonprobably not quite as low as that one though
also relocated the rear leaf front hanger
