mazda on 22

we did 2 inches (1 on each side) out of the frame and 2 inches out of the arm (1 on each side)...but if i were to do it over with a mazda clip i would have taken the whole 4 out of the clip there is enough room to do it all frame and not have to mess with the geometry of the clip....we also had to raise the upper arm an inch to relieve the massive amount of camber that resulted from narrowed arms on that big of a rim....but if i were to really do it over i would use a toyota front clip which is about 2 inches narrower and then narrow it 2 inches..toyotas have way better geometry than mazdas do, mazdas have alot of bump steer!!!!!

and yea the frame was shortened down the middle resulting in 1 inch per side....

i know im bringing up an old thread, but what ever came of this bad ass mazda? or even the astro and the builder?

the mazda is currently for sale, i believe he only wants 6000 for it which is a steal for it...... the astro van got sold to a kid in delaware that is redoing a bunch of stuff on it and cleaning everything up real good on it..... and the builder dont build things anymore, well not unless i own it hahaha
