So I bought an 89' Burban about a month and a half ago for $500, and I have about $800 into it after that. Well I found out last night after I had a mechanic take a listen to it, that I spun a rod on it. I was planning a full engine (454) and tranny rebuild while I was gone on my next deployment come Feb. Also wanted to do a nice two tone on it and a 5/7 drop and call it good.

The questions is simple, KEEP IT OR SELL IT, just wanna see what ya'll say!

Looks like I'm gonna keep it, just need an engine rebuild shop in SD or LA, anyone know of decent ones that offer warranties?

it does have SOME rust, not too bad though, been working on it and it's not going through the body anywhere. The majority says keep though, guess I need to get some mini-trucker cash, A.K.A. credit card, rollin!

I always wanted an Astro, but now that I've had this I have big plans for it. It's my second Chevy, this one will get done up proper like. Thanks for all the input all!
