96 impala rear end?????

on an 88-98 how much narrower is an impala rear end and what does it take to get the discs to work?? anyone done this?

I have heard that the caprice rear ends from the bubble style years are 3" narrower. I am sure the impala ones are the same being that it is pretty much the same chassis as the caprice.

The Impala ss rear is wider than the Caprice and Roadmaster rears, and the wagon rears are different than the sedans. I don't remember how much, but it was not alot.
