97-98 chevy ? about the abs .

what is every one doing with the abs block? any pics would be help full.

replacing it with manual brakes new 7in booster and MC.

You can run residual pressure valves and a proportioning valve. 2 PSI to discs, 10 PSI to drums, proportioning valve to the rear. You can get all of this from speedway motors. I did it on the 2 door tahoe I am building now. Go look at the thread.

all i did with my 97 was got a old proportioning valve from a 88-94 c1500 and put that in the main lines.   i used both the stock master and booster from the 97.  truck stoped on a dime!  hope this helps. Grounded 4 Life Kustomz

I did the same as just2ttu.....works great....factory booster and mc with the proportioning valve....
