Fuel gauge question?

I moved my gas tank to the back of my truck and now the fuel gauge is saying I have a full tank when I don't.  I extended the fuel lines and wires.  Any Idea what might be the problem?

I did the same thing and mine works fine, IDK. Is it sitting level? You sure the wires are hooked up? I know it seems obvious but often times it's something simple.
