Im about to start a 85 c-10 project and i would like to convert it to a 6 lug pattern. I know a 90's model spindal bolts up, and could then run a 90's model lite duty 3/4 ton rotor which is a six lug. Just not sure if i would run into any other issues. Has anyone done this,,,or can provide any info?  Big thanks.

not totally sure if you will run into the same issues that i did...i put a 65 cross member under a 61 truck (chev)used 65 lower and upper arms, but welded on ball joint cups from an 87 on the lowersso that i could use 89- (whatever) 3/4 ton drop spindles.. 6 lug-- any way all my steering was too short due to the different spindle configuration..i dunno, maybe you will be close enough in model years to not have the same issue, but just something to look out for.. good luck!

I did a rotor swap on my 99 2dr tahoe to convert to 6 lug. But im not sure about just swapping the rotor on the 85 c-10. But for my 85 i have the whole SD raised x-member kit including upper and lower tubular arms. I guess ill just have to try the swap and see what happens. Thanks for the input guys

snicker2938... Not on this set up, the linkage was like 2.5 inches short on each side! ... would have been sice though!!

I'm pretty sure but not 100% but I think the seals and bearings are different.

I found these rotors that come in 6 lug. Looks like id just have to swap the rotor. This company carries alot of great stuff http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1960_1972_Chevy_Truck/CP4R5.htm
