Factory AC to EDC

What needs to be done to convert the Factory AC to an Engine Driven Compressor?  Any disadvantages versus using a York 210?

It all depends on what kind of factory ac it is.  The york is a factory compressor on a few vehicles.  But the real advantage to using a York is that it is self oiling, so you don't need to fill it as much as the others.  If you have a Sanden, then there are a few write ups on mazdabscene.com about switching over to an EDC with it.

It's a stock Isuzu AC.
