smallest dodge you can get w/ a cummins stock is a 2500 & its 8 lug. heres a 12 valve, which is the older cummins. this is next on my to do list. Aaron's+1%2f2+ton+Ram+w%2f+a+swapped+12v+Cummins

The post about making a spacer between your hub and wheel is the best way to strengthen your wheel/hub interface. It's called a hubcentric and that is exactly what it is designed to do. The hub snout itself is designed to have a wheel center fit with little to no clearance so that the lug nuts are only holding the wheel on and not holding the vehicle up. There are also a few companies that make high-grade studs for racing. The off road industry uses some realy crazy studs that have a shoulder on them that the wheel "indexes" on to and aleviates the stress on the threads even further. Check out tubeworks.com
