which is the better way to mount subs in the trunk of a car (i.e. - 92 honda accord), facing the passenger compartment, or facing toward the rear of the car? i was just wondering, i've heard mixed stories about the subject and i wanted some opinions. thanks.

Theres a lot of varibles...  As a general rule of thumb id say if your going to fold the back seat down, face foward. If seats up, face trunk.

face them towards the back cause if you face them forward you are not using the trunk as a sound chamber and that gives you a couple more db's, also if you face them forward you will have a what they call a dead spot somewhere in your car.

my shop we face the trunk most of the time. sounds a hell of alot better when it is a vented box not only you get more DB's from the vent but you get a few more from the trunk..
