need help from S-10 owners

I am try'n to find out what the measurement is on the rear end from the face of one brake drum to the face of the other brake drum on a S-10 and does it very by the year model from the square body to the 94 and up.   any help would be grate.

All that was some cool stuff but i was not able to get the info i needed off of it, maby i was looking at it wrong or something but i could not find a part where it went from the face of the brake drun where the rim touches to the other side.  but thanks for the link. 

the measurment for the 2wd is about 54" the only different one will be on the 4wd verson that is about 59" if you need an exact measurement let me know i got both in the backyard

GRATE!   Yes, can i get the exact measurement on the 2wd verson. that will help so much.   and do you know if they do the gear ratio by the motor size? not shur how to read the housing for the gear ratio inside. i know they come with a 3.08 , 3.42 , and  3.73  just dont know how to pick them out when i go looking for one.      Thanks .

I know in my '95 with the 2.2 I had 3.73 ratio.  Does any one know if these came with lsd's in the rears?  Mine sure felt like it.  That truck was a fun drifter.

the gear ratio can be anything really, if you have the truck it came out of then you can check the G codes in the glovebox.. GU4=3.08 GU5=3.23 GU6=3.42 GT4=3.73 GT5=4.10  G80 is locking diff as well. if you dont have the truck then you will need to open the cover and count the # of teeth on the ring and pinion then divide them out to come up with the above ratio. i dont remember the track width off hand but 54" is very close. also all 2wd rears are the same from 82-04.

the exact is 54.5"and is the same for all year 2wd s10
