The frame that Chris did works great.  And with the 115V welder I also will agree that they WILL do just fine, as long as you prep the steel properly, (i.e beveling edges, getting rid of mill scale, especially on angle or c-channel), and having an adequate breaker.  Don't use a 100 foot extension cord for you christmas tree lights either.

My full frame is weded air tight. Im very pleased that I done this. My valves is screwed into the frame. My longest air line is from my engine drivin to the frame. And my front air lines is less than 10 inches. I did plumbed it with hydraulic hose. I can go days with my truck aired up. Plus it holds 4.5 gallons of air. Just took a while and alot of soapy water to completly seal it off and all my welds are ground smooth.                            ///Dustin

Just a reminder to people doing this that you need a vent hole or bung hole drilled to release hot welding gases so when your doing your last pass your weld wont get blown out by the gases created. Pain in the ass if it happens but depending on the piece your building this will happen most of the time. So by creating a frame tank are the welds more prone to crack or brake due to the pressure in the frame? always wondered about this.
