I just got a 87 Mazda B2000 for a daily driver and I'm about to lay it out. It needed a carb when i bought it and everyone

I talked to  said to go with a Webber cuz you lose all the emission crap over the fender as well as the ecu. when you take

the ecu out, How will that affect my headlights and turn signal's? if any one has any info and pic's pleas post. Just for some
info the carb I ordered is a Webber 34 DGEC in case that will effect the info I'm given. Preciate it!

It won't do anything to them, its a totally separate computer found under the passenger side kick panel.  Your lights and signals are run from the drivers side.

It will not effect your lights at all.   If you can, return the 34/34. Those carbs suck, even the guys at Weber will tell you that. I tried one, and the truck ran like crap, and I couldn't tune it. Can't get parts for them locally either. I swapped to a 32/36 and I am much happier. Much better throttle response, my mileage went up about 4 MPG, and it actually runs clean enough to smog.

i have a 32/36 on my 20r (2.2L) and i love it. with a big header and short exhaust, it runs a bit rich. i still get 19-22 city driving fairly aggresive. i got the one with the electric choke. i found the kit from weber on ebay for like 280 shipped. eventually id like to modify the intake to not need a bolt on 2 part adapter. but it was pretty simple. i like it.   as far as other electricals, back then the computer just did the motor. shouldnt effect hardly anything else of the truck. take note that you might need a fuel pressure regulator to bring it down to a pressure a carb will accept. efi runs higher pressure (15-70 depending on application) carbs like 4-6. and, you will probably need to run your own fuel pump relay. should be pretty simple. do you have a new intake manifold to put a carb onto or are you going to use your stocker?

Sam you can actually pull that harness completely out... The only thing you'll need in it is the 2 wires for your wiper motor. I just pulled those 2 out and rerouted them and welded up the 2" hole in the firewall...

I'm going with the stock intake manifold for right now. I'm trying to to put it together for the least amount of money possible because it's going to be a daily driver. My project is a 88' Dodge D-50 and we are going to be working on it forever so I wanted something bagged in the meantime. I only gave 100 dollars for it and it runs good body is full of dings so I have  been doing body work for the last week and as soon as that gets done were going to bag it. Dose any body know of a good place to find body parts cheep? I need some door's for it because the guy before me tried to shave them and warped them and it would be allot easier to just throw some new door's on it and be done.
