custom gas door ideas????

i used to have somthin like that before i shaved it, i got one of those magnets of my sons TV stand

I'm curious, with these mounted horizontal, if the truck is in the rain or after going through the car wash or whatever, doesn't the water pool there and end up getting into the gas tank?

So i found a solution for my gas door deal and executed it nicely...lol  I used a gas door off a 08 tahoe, along with the arm and bracketry and the factory filler neck/nozzle.. looks pretty trick n works great...   ill post up pics tomorrow in my build up thread...   thanks for all the help guys!!!

sweet. and if you drill a small hole, or leave a bolt out of the filler neck on that flat mount then it should drain out before it accumulates taller than the spout of the tank.

i love gas door behind the tail lights...
