Good new and bad news! The good news is that the truck is looking awesome. The bad new is that even though it looks awesome the engine blew up. So I just started on another engine. Hope to have it done by the end of the week. And I got a new intake manifold since mine was a Lil taller than I liked

NOT QUITE SURE ON THAT YET.. I WAS THINKING OF MAKING IT LIKE THE CHEVY 2500HD HOOD, KINDA JUST A REALLY WIDE COWL HOOD. I HATE COWL HOODS SO WANNA MAKE IT AS LOW AS POSSIBLE, SO IM TRYING TO FIND A SUPER LOW AIR CLEANER THAT WONT RESTRICT AIR FLOW. AND THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT EVERYONE

Well I figured if something is gonna be sticking out of my hood I should make it something that looks fast! Not sure if I like it yet. I might get rid of the shine!

your doin a nice job with this build...how did you blow up the new engine already?
I like you hood idea, im not a huge fan with cowl hoods either and have been contimplating graphing a hd hood onto my oe. just trim to fit and use the inner layer for a guide and support. havent gotten to the point where i need mine yet so we'll see.
