here are some pics of whats been done.passenger side istubbed and the strut tower filled in. even though i was able to clean all the paint off the welds still turned out bad. it burns through the other side and pops leaving a bunch of holes in between the two pieces. even the second pass over didnt look good. the drive shaft boot busted and slung green grease everywhere. damn fwd
both front struts are busted and leaking now. the boot leaked cause i burned a hole in it while welding
what did you change to get it to sit that low?
you going to be ready to drive to killswitch?
well the main thing is that its sitting in the grass. the metal i welded on to drag is in the dirt.. but it does get lower now that i replaced the struts. i tried to cut the extra metal off to let it sit lower but i just ruined 2 blades. i guess ill just drag it off. ill take more pics when its gone
yes it will make it to killswitch. unless i break something draggin that metal off
here is the start of rebuilding the 2 link. should be 2-3" lower after i tub it. should tuck rim after, and center the wheel stock bushings
This is awesome. Trying to talk my friend into bagging his HHR now.
