very easy to put a 302 in it.
it will fit with stock hood also
you have to decide if auto or standard trans
will need to shorten drive shaft, and dont worry about changing your rear end, they are plenty strong enough, and it wouldnt matter any ways, you have a non limited slip rear end (one legger) so any torque from the v8 and one tire will spin no matter what.
