Looks like the upper bars could be centered alittle more. They should both be at the same angle. You can see how bad it is in this picture. The driveshaft isn't centered in these trucks.

upper bars shouldve been cenetered with the frame, not the driveshaft, easy mistake to fix

Probably easier just to remove the driveshaft notch and make a new one thats centered in the frame rails to hold the new upper 4-link tabs. I wouldn't say its and easy fix but thats what I would do.

You could then incorporate Joels idea of running the notch though the frame rails to double as the front lower 4-link mounts.

wouldnt that affect the length of my upper bars? i thought of that as well but was under the impression i need to extend my link bars or buy new ones.

or just cut the upper bar tabs and move them downward?

good idea. i never noticed how offcenter those bars are. thats not good. You might be better off just rebuilding that crossmember. running it through the frame would be nice too, and then have your lower bar mounts come off the bottom of your crossmember. If you find your uppers arent quite the right length you can always cheat A LITTLE with tab lengths and angles. It sounds like a lot of work but if you just decide to leave it as is its gonna be alot more work to fix it all later after its plumbed and wired.
