Hello, just wondering if someone can help me out. Im in love with the look of the semis on the crewcabs, and i love the look of the trucks slammed but i cant afford to do both. Whats involved in converting my regular 16's to semis without the air suspension and c notches and z frame and all that.
Is it just a matter of getting hub adapters and having the 22.5 milled down to a 22? or is it much more complex than that?
If its too complex, I may just put a 6/8 drop with the factory 16's. Im up in the air but still want to use truck to pull boats.
thanks for any advice!
Its real easy. Bolt on 8-10 lug adapters, either buy wheels already milled or get some and have them milled and bolt them on. Regular ones will atick out a bit from the rear fenders or get a set of townasty wheels from tennesse tire and wheel and they will not stick out. You can still tow with them, i will be towing a 10000lb camper with by body dropped dually with 24's on it.depending on your stock tire size the 22's will be close to the same outside diameter.
