need ac help fast

i have a 91 b2600i and i'm trying to get power to my ac compressor so i can charge the system. i know the interior switch is good. i get power the the compressor only when the button is depressed and the blower motor is set on position 1. if i turn the blower motor to position 2 3 or 4 with the button depressed, there is no power to the compressor. can someone please help its so hot outside haha

sounds like the fan switch is bad.... only the 1 postion is good

the fan does work on all positions but position 1

yea, its the switch, i have a couple laying around if you want them.

does mazda's have blower motor reihostats.

where is the fan switch located at?

well i fixed the problem. i looked at the wiring diagrams in my haynes manual and i figured it was the blow motor resistor. so i replaced that with a new on from auto zone and problem solved
