thoughts on converting cc dually to ccsb srw?

i have a 96 crew cab chevy dually diesel/5spd but doesnt have a bed. i have access to a 6ft bed and i am contemplating building a ccsb srw out of it? just cant make up my mind on to go forward with it as dually or srw short bed?

most of us here would probably say keep it a dually..... but we are kinda fond of them here

no problem now its gone and working on 82 reg cab 2wd chevy maybe getting a new 6.0L and 4l80e?
