s-10 doesnt start

My buddy's 96 s-10 wont start after he finished paint and stuff. It gets gas all the way up to the shcreider valve by the injectors but wont start unless gas is poored directly into the throttle body. Disconnected ground etcc...? any ideas would help, we have a show today.

Does gas squirt out of the test port on the fuel rail or just kinda dribble out? If it doesnt squirt out ur not gettin fuel. My 4 cylinder 94 s10 gets 42 psi at the rail i believe.

i just went threw this with my 02 had to have the VATS takin out of the computer

I went through the same thing and all mine was just a fuel pump relay changed for $20 and fired the first time.... "located on the firewall"

check the ground located in the tailight harness plug at the rear drivers frame rail, the ground wire there is for the fuel pump, just had the same problem while we were changing a bed for a guy!

Check the relay for the fuel pump, my relay was clicking but i was only getting 4 volts out of it. swap it with a known good relay. The ac relay was the same part# on my s10
