Theres no specific regulations on how to modify a vehicle just the state codes on what can and cannot be done. In az you must have the plate at most rear of vehicle 12 inches from bottom of plate and a light. Other laws are headlight height,tail light height,reflectors,side/rear view mirrors etc..... I found out all the info for free by going on the states DMV website and looking at every law/code and how it applies to me as a minitrucker. I keep the ones in my truck that i know cops will be dicks about and when they try to hassle me, i spit out the codes and they back off. But hell i'm 30 and drive like i'm 60 so i don't get harassed to much,but always good to know your local laws.

in cali, we must also have some sort of plate in the front also.

^ ^ ^ ^ NOT TRUE, north dakota, u MUST run a front license plate, rear has to be at the rear most part of the vehicle, in the center, NO angles, WITH a light,12" off the ground and no mods or anything diff. about the actual plate itself... basically gotta be centered on the fullskin with a light to be legal... u name it i been pulled over for all of em, angled plate, too low to the ground, no light,not at rear of vehicle... stupid cops in ND man.. imagine wut theyll say bout my license plate now!!! its illegal in all 5 ways they possibly can be!plus run no front plate, if the corvettes can do it, so can i, HAHAHA fuck em !

What really sucks about my state now is the fact that they stopped stamping
the letters/numbers on the tags. Now they print the letters/numbers on!! I got my new personal tag the other day & was like this is gay!!

nevada plates are printed as well.. and you do have to have a front plate. i know because they told me personally...
