my truck is Z'd 2 inches...plus a 4 inch body drop...my motormounts are for putting a LSX in a s10....and i was running the Victor jr high rise intake....maybe without the Z and with the shorter intake and a small air cleaner it would clear...i swapped back to fuel injection and with a 2 inch fiberglass hood my intake clears....barely...but my alternator does not...im gonna swap to a 4 inch hood cause its cheaper than a car intake and front drive setup...but let me recommend a Current Performance wiring harness and keepin your LS motor fuel injected...and you can also run a 4L60/4L80 trans in the same wiring harness....and the harness is around the same price as the intake/control box....plus you have to buy a Carb....thats 300 more bucks...hell thats enough to get your computer tuned....and bam fuel injection and overdrive
