steering wheel swap

i want to swap my steering wheel in my 92 gmc out for an old car/truck wheel like from the 50's. I know some of you have done this, so what wheel did you use and how hard was it to get/make an adapter?

anyone? i know it has been done just looking for a little help/insite

you might get lucky with old Chevy trucks, I don't see why they would change something like that over the years.

i thought they might have changed from 1950 to 1992

49-66 used one spline and they changed it 67-94. So a 1967 and up should fit no problem.

I doubt there were any wheels that are worth it from '67 to now through on Chevy trucks.

What about older fords and 50's caddy's and stuff?

thats what im lookin for an older looking wheel something cool with a huge chrome ring caddy would be cool i wonder if caddy would be the same as chevy? well they prob. were not the same back then
